Why VERD exists

Most people who decide for a living have no idea how calibrated they actually are.

Confidence isn't calibration. You remember your good calls, forget the near-misses, and your "track record" becomes a story you tell — not a number anyone can audit. Meanwhile the people who pay you to be right increasingly want to see the receipts, and today you can't produce them. VERD is the receipts: a record built before outcomes are known, scored after they resolve, and verifiable by anyone who needs to trust your judgment.
