If AEQUARA gave you a verdict that caused you harm, file an appeal. Every appeal is reviewed by a named steward — today, the founder — against the published methodology, within 7 business days. The override-anything button is permanent; the appeal process is what happens when override isn't enough.
Any per-report or Pro-tier billing related to the wrong verdict is refunded to your original payment method within 5 business days of sustained appeal. (Checkout hasn't launched — today every verdict is free preview, so there is nothing to refund yet; the commitment binds the moment billing exists.)
The wrong verdict is published on the Track Record scoreboard — PII redacted unless you opt in. Root-cause and mitigation made public.
A 30-minute review call with the named steward — today, the founder — about your specific situation. Scheduled within 14 days of sustained appeal.
Per Constitution §8: the appeal button is exactly as prominent as the accept-this-verdict path. We never prompt "are you sure you want to override?" or "we strongly recommend reconsidering" or any dark-pattern variant. The override is your right; making you fight for it would violate the binding charter.
You receive an email with your appeal ID and the named reviewer assigned to your case — today, the founder.
The reviewer pulls the verdict trace, the contributing source weights, and the panel votes, and scores the appeal against the published methodology. If sustained, root-cause is identified and substrate-side mitigation is queued for the next quarterly recalibration.
If sustained: refund processed (5 business days), Track Record scoreboard updated with the miss (PII per your consent), consultation scheduled (if opted in). If denied: detailed reasoning sent to you with appeal-of-appeal path noted.
Sustained appeals feed the next quarterly Brier recalibration. If your appeal exposes a systemic bias, the contributing tool is auto-paused per the >0.05 drift rule until retraining ships.
This page operationalizes Constitution §8. The track record of sustained appeals lives at /trust-v2/track-record. The override-anything button on every VerdictCard is the day-one recourse; this appeal flow is when override isn't enough.
